Kitty’s Launderette is starting a UK Lottery Funded Heritage Project. ‘Hanging Out: Histories of Liverpool's Laundry Life’ aims to explore launderettes and wash-houses in Liverpool and record memories of experiences in these spaces. This will result in a number of exhibitions and events to bring to life the memories of these experiences to uncover these forgotten histories of community in Liverpool.
